論《西遊記》天命觀脈絡下的敘事模式與孫悟空超越英雄的意義

Study On the Narrative Mode manifested via the Theme of Destiny in the Journey to the West and over the Heroic Meaning of Sun Wukong

摘要

「天命思想」作為傳統小說根源性的創作基模，在情節和結構上皆影響中國小說的敘事模式，透過天命觀脈絡來觀察、了解中國傳統小說共有的天命命題下，《西遊記》如何展布他的獨特情節結構，另一方面，在這種思想架構的基模下，又想進一步檢驗出孫悟空不只是超越英雄的意義，而是藉天命和英雄性格相融成智者的過程。藉此提出一種不同西方理論的處理方式，從而作為理解「中國傳統小說」一種詮解的途徑。文中先舉學者對《西遊記》的孫行者為英雄的評價，繼而發現故事的發展，並非逐漸建構一個英雄，而是讓這個具有抗天命的英雄逐步接受天命，成為智者而告終的歷程。在此同時，天命觀脈絡根深蒂固的影響了《西遊記》，透過對形式上的解讀，包含玄象、天數、情節與時間結構等，可以了解天命思想怎麼貫串在《西遊記》裡，進而梳理出《西遊記》在天命觀影響下，和社會安頓的精神力量相互結撰，使孫行者的角色價值能保證在天命不全中，人有往「全」方向移動的可能，並能進一步發展成真正的智慧，進而安頓、調適天命限制下的殘缺，並以為這才是書中透過天命敘事下，更深一層的意義。

In the plot and structure, the Narrative Mode manifested via the Theme of Destiny affects the narrative mode of Chinese novels. If we study on the Narrative Mode manifested via the Theme of Destiny in the Journey to the West and over the Heroic Meaning of Sun Wukong. The scholars first commented on the heroes of the ＂Journey to the West＂ as a hero, and then discovered that the development of the story is not to gradually construct a hero, but to let this hero with anti-destiny gradually accept the fate of life and become a wise man. At the same time, the destiny of the Tianming view has deeply influenced the ＂Journey to the West＂. The role of Sun Wukong can guarantee that in the insufficiency of the fate, people may move to the ＂full＂ direction, and can further develop into true wisdom, and then settle and adjust the defects under the limits of destiny, and think that this is the book through the destiny Under the narrative, a deeper meaning.
