懷舊及園藝治療對高齡者身心健康有實質貢獻,融合代間互動模式,應可為高齡者帶來幸福效果。本研究之構思及執行乃結合代間及懷舊要素,設計懷舊代間園藝治療團體方案,透過招募及邀請大學生與高齡者,以三比一比例組成跨世代活動小組,進行此團體活動,並評估高齡者之參與效果。研究對象為7名高齡者,採量化評估及質性研究方式蒐集及分析研究資料,即透過單組前後測前實驗設計方式,以老人幸福感量表評估其參與前後之幸福感差異,及高齡者焦點團體訪談與大學生參與心得回饋資料為文本,進行內容分析,綜合評估高齡者參與團體之效果。研究發現高齡者參與團體前後之幸福感具有顯著差異,且涵蓋有心理、情緒及社會等層面之幸福感現象,研究證實高齡者參與懷舊代間園藝治療活動,能從中獲得幸福感之提升及體驗諸多正面效果,亦肯定高齡者對代間互動之貢獻。
Reminiscence and horticultural therapy make a substantial contribution to the physical and mental health of the elderly. The integration of intergenerational interaction models should bring well-being to the elderly. The design and implementation of this study was to integrate the intergenerational and reminiscent concepts to conduct a reminiscent-intergenerational horticultural therapy group program for the elderly. By recruiting and inviting 21 college students and 7 older people, a three-to-one ratio was used to form an intergenerational group for group therapy and to evaluate the effect of the elderly's participation. The research method was used the mixed methods approaches. Through the one-group pretest-posttest design, the elderly well-being scale was used to assess the effect of difference before and after the elderly's participating in this group, and the focus group interview of the elderly objects and feedback of college students were provided as the texts of the content analysis. The findings were that was a significant difference in the sense of well-being of the elderly's participating in the group, containing the psychological, emotional, and social aspects of well-being. The study has confirmed that the elderly can benefit from the reminiscent-intergenerational horticultural therapy group, including the sense of well-being and positive experience.
