Analysis the Communication Predicament and Communication Process of Saying "I Love You" to Parents

摘要


家庭裡親子之間是彼此繫絆著,卻因東方傳統文化影響,而有愛在心裡口難開的現象。本文以質性研究方式,請36位參與者自填開放式問卷,而本研究目的乃分析參與者在3.5個月期間,對家中父母說「我愛你」的書面內容,以探究其溝通困境和溝通歷程。研究發現參與者的困境因素有二:家中沒有口語表達我愛你的習慣和父母以指責模式進行溝通。溝通歷程則有四階段:(1)醞釀;(2)行動;(3)發酵;和(4)反思。本研究最後根據研究結果探究其意涵,並對家庭成員提出相關建議。

Parent-child relationships bonded together in the families. Because of the impact of oriental traditional culture, family members had predicament to say "love" among them. The researcher invited 36 participants to attend this study. The purpose of this study was to use a qualitative methodology to analyze their communication predicament and communication process about their experiences. The results were as following: First, the predicaments were: (1) that their families had no this culture; (2) that their parents used blame to communicate with them; (3) that their parents used behavior to show love; and (4) that participants thought that their parents knew participants loved them. Second, the communication process had four stages: (1) to brew; (2) to act; (3) to ferment; and (4) to reflect. According to the findings, further suggestions were provided for counselors and social workers.
