Development and Application of Persulfate Oxidation Technology for Contamination Remediation

摘要


過硫酸鹽(S_2O_8^(2–))氧化法近年來開始被應用於土壤及地下水污染整治,過硫酸鹽為一強氧化劑,經適當活化後可產生氧化力更高之硫酸根自由基(SO_4^–‧),有效的將污染物去除。本文介紹過硫酸鹽氧化法適用之目標污染物、常用活化方式之原理,並介紹以過硫酸鹽為基礎之長效型釋氧化劑物質之發展,期能提供讀者在相關應用上之參考。

Persulfate (S_2O_8^(2-)) oxidation has recently been used to remediate soil and groundwater contamination.Persulfate is a strong oxidant which can be activated by initiators to produce more powerful sulfatefree radicals (SO_4^-‧) to degrade contaminants effectively. In this article suitable target compounds forpersulfate oxidation, the principles of persulfate activation, and the development of sustained-releasepersulfate materials are introduced to help readers better understand persulfate oxidation.
