摘要

音樂治療是健康照護領域中一種新興的臨床技巧，它的定義是“有技巧地使用音樂來恢復、維持、改善病人的生理、心理與情緒問題”，近年來許多學者都在學術期刊中建議將音樂給用於失智症照護領域，並對其療效提出有力的研究數據或經驗背書。本專論的目的，即是歸納音樂治療對失智症病人生理、心理健康的影響，介入方式，以及兩種運用於失智症患者的音樂治療方式。期幫助臨床醫療人員對音樂治療在失智症照護的運用有更進一步的了解，並應用之，進而提升失智症照護之品質。

Music Therapy-a sort of newly developed clinical skills in the health care field-is defined as a therapy which, using music to maintain, restore and improve patients physical, mental and emotional problems”. In recent years, more and more researchers and specialists have proposed that music be used onto medication and endorsed the use of music therapy into care for dementia, with concrete and convincing figures or hands-on experiences. The aim of this essay is to make a summary, including the effect of music therapy for dementia patient's physical and mental health, the way cutting into, the two music therapy models for Patient. This essay expects that could help clinic medical staffs know more about the way using music therapy to dementia patients, apply music therapy to dementia patients and finally improve the quality of dementia care.
