當代水墨思維的異質變奏－以楊明迭、莊連東、陳芷若作品為例

摘要

變奏曲（Variation）是一種樂曲的結構形式，旨在進行主題的演變。此種曲式題以一種易於辨識的主題曲調，並採取各種方法將主題進行各種可能的變化。而筆者觀察到許多當代藝術作品中具有這樣的特色，本文即以音樂曲式當中「變奏曲」的主調與變奏形式，做為論述當代藝術創作的一種譬喻法。試圖呈現一種當代在打破疆異的創作模態下，多元樣貌作品中似曾相似的共同指涉，而這個指涉在此設定為當代藝術創作中的水墨意味之想像。當討論到藝術創作中的變奏手法，很難不注意到這些創作所產生的脫離或遠離主調的異質運用。作品可以運非同一性的手法來進行創牾，藉此產生複數性的可能。於是筆者接續著在這些複數可能性進行關注，討論這些異質變奏的創作模態背後，因為創作者所採取的手法不同，使其造成作品內部媒介之間權力關係的特殊溝通。並發覺作品當中異質變奏所產生的價值，期望能開展一種對於水墨切入觀點所能探討的不同觀察及思考。

Variation, in music, refers to a music structure where material is repeated in an altered form according to specific themes. The research has been inspired by the observation which this technique is also implemented in modern art creation. Hence, this paper aims to study the application and its metaphor for all this. The application seems to be a hard attempt to break the conventional art creation process. A great variety of artworks have been found the same application, and here, more specifically, the imagination of creation of Ink. In light of the variation in art creation, the creators usually use the technique of heterogeneity, meaning that the materials used are far different from their themes. The art works could be created by heterogeneous approaches to create an interesting plural diversity. Then, the researcher further studied the norms of creation. As these artists applied different approaches to build up a special communication among the media in their works. We have noticed a worth-noting value presented by the works. Based on this finding, the researcher further discussed different observations and perspectives from the creation of Ink.
