The purpose of the study was to test physical educator teaching objectives orientation scale which was made by Pan (1998), whether it fitted to measure student physical educators about their teaching objective orientation. The subjects of the study were student physical educators for teacher colleges in Taiwan. At first, the exploratory factor analysis was used to construct scale, and then the confirmatory factor analysis was used to examine the scale whether overall fit for student physical educators. The first step, 220 students were selected from teacher colleges in Taiwan, The available subjects were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, the second step, 230 students were selected, and LISREL8.3 was used to analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis . The results showed that hypothetical model of teaching objective tendencies scale fitted the data (χ^2(subscript (21))=56.57, P<.05; χ^2/df=2.69, GFI=0.96, AGFI=0.91, CFI=0.97, RMR=0.04). The physical educators teaching objective orientations scale is both valid and reliable, and can be provided to assess the teaching objective orientations for student physical educator. The identification tendencies of physical education teaching objectives that-affective objective was the most importance, cognitive and physical fitness objectives were the second importance, and the least importance was movement-skill objective. In addition, this paper also provided the methods and procedures for conducting the confirmatory factor analysis to test the construct validity of teaching objective orientation.
