The purpose of this article was to analyze the scores contests of judo games, including score-made levels, score-made techniques, score-made time and score-made areas, in order to understand the traits of technical actions of international excellent male judo contestants and to offer some advice on future study. In the international Judo games, lightweight contestants perform far more technical actions (techniques) than heavyweight contestants in a minute. The score-making techniques mainly lie in Ashi-waza (e.g. Uchi-mata, O-soto-gari, and Ko-uchi-gari) regardless of the weight level of games, secondly in Te-waza (Seoi-nage and Ippon-seoi-nage) and thirdly in Koshi-waza (Harai-goshi). The score made in all levels of national and international contests distribute differently, however, Ippon consists of a major portion. In the first three minutes of the contest, most scores are made in the make use of drive tactics area (area B); when after the first three minutes, or when the level of contestants are about the same, most scores are made in activity attack area (area E). Heretofore, there are few paper discussing about the score-making area in Judo games, however, the tactics (strategies) used in the game field is also a significant part in training and in contests, therefore, the use of the score-making area in a game is truly a topic worth of study. The result of this study is worthy for Taiwan to promote and raise the level of judo games.
