本研究的主要目的在探討不同職棒球隊球迷支持球隊因素及其對球隊認同的影響。以觀賞2003年職棒總冠軍賽的球迷為樣本,二日共計發出900份問卷,刪除162份填答不全或自陳無特定支持球隊之問卷後,有效問卷738份。問卷內容包含三部份,第一部份測量球迷的球隊支持因素;第二部分測量球迷的球隊認向;第三部份則是球迷個人的背景變項。研究結果發現,除了牛隊高中樣本外,個人社經變項在球隊支持因素及球隊認同上僅有少數差異達顯著水準,不過兩隊不同涉入變項的受試者在球隊支持因素及球隊認同上卻有許多差異產生。另本研究也發現,不同認同程度的球迷在球隊涉入變項上會有差異存在,並且兩隊球迷所展現出的球隊支持因素對球隊認同的影響不盡相同。
The purpose of this study was to explore factors which contribute to different professional baseball fan's team identification. Data were drawn from the audience watching The 2003 Chinese Professional Baseball League's final championship. Out of the 900 questionnaires distributed for the 2 contests in which 2 baseball teams played for the championship in 2003, l62 participants failed to complete the questionnaires and were dropped from the sample. Thus, the final sample consisted of 738 individuals. The questionnaire used in this study contained three sections. Section One represented the supporting factors. Section Two used the Sport Spectator Identification Scale. Section Three assessed participant's demographic variables, such as age, gender, purchase behavior and spectating frequency. Results indicated there were few significant differences among different demographic backgrounds on team identification and supporting factors but many significant differences among different team involving backgrounds on team identification and supporting factors. Moreover, vary in team identification, fans exhibited different team involving behavior. Finally, the prediction power of supporting factors on team identification for each team was varied.
