The effects of Wuqinxi exercise on health

The result of the global trend, Taiwan has become an "aged society" in 2018. It is estimated that it will become a "super-aged society" in 2026. "Successful aging", slowing down the deterioration of physical and mental functions, and preventing chronic diseases have become relatively important issues. Wuqinxi is a traditional health practice, focusing on the linkage and coordination of joints, limbs, muscles and respiratory system. Previous studies have proved that Wuqinxi is beneficial to meridians and blood circulation, regulating immunity, strengthening the respiratory function and improving sleep quality. Thus, Wuqinxi should be able to enhance mental and physical health. This study mainly used literature review methods to explore the health benefits of the Wuqinxi.
