以結構方程模式探討學生參與科學博物館節水教育活動之成效分析

A Study on Exploring the Effectiveness of Students' Participation in Water-saving Education Activities in Science Museums with Structural Equation Model

摘要


現今因全球氣候變遷,很多國家面臨缺水危機,讓水資源議題更顯重要。「愛水樂活逗陣來」是經濟部水利署與科學博物館共同主辦之節水教育活動,利用科學博物館非制式教育場域特質,藉由參加互動式之教具體驗提升對於水資源議題之重視。為探析節水活動學習成效,本研究透過文獻分析歸納出影響活動之因素,並以國小中、高年級及國中學生為調查對象,透過自編問卷,進行信、效度及驗證性因素分析,建構科學博物館節水教育活動之成效模式,探討模式中各變項間的關係。研究結果發現,整體成效模式適配度理想,適用國中、小學生參與節水教育活動成效;在「用水覺知」變項方面,對於「學習投入」及「水資源知識」兩者變項皆有直接影響效果,而對「態度」變項則有間接效果,顯示學生具備的水資源先備知識與觀念對於學習成效會產生影響;在「學習投入」變項方面,對於「水資源知識」有直接影響效果,而對「態度」則有間接效果,顯示科學博物館利用闖關互動型的活動內容能讓學生融入情境,確實有效提升正確的用水知識概念,並間接影響學生的用水態度;另外「水資源知識」變項對「用水態度」變項有直接影響效果,顯示參加節水活動可以有效提升學生對於用水的重視程度。本模式分析學生參加節水教育活動成效的影響因素,研究結果有助於科學博物館未來規劃相關活動之參考。

Due to global climate change, many countries are facing a water shortage crisis, making the issue of water resources more important. "Love Water and Live Together" is a water conservation education activity co-sponsored by the Water Resources Agency and the Science Museum. Through the characteristic of the informal educational field, the activity is expected to increase the importance of water resources issues through the participation in the interactive teaching. In order to explore the effectiveness of water conservation activities, this research summarized the factors affecting activities through literature analysis, and selected upper grade elementary school students and middle school students as the subjects for the survey. The self-compiled questionnaire was tested by reliability, validity and confirmatory factor analyses. This study constructed an effectiveness model for water conservation education activities in the science museum, and explored the relationship between the various variables of the model. The results show that the overall effectiveness of the model adaptability was ideal and applicable to the middle school and elementary school students. The variable of "water awareness" has a direct effect on both "learning engagement" and "water knowledge". and an indirect effect on "water attitude". In other words, students' prior knowledge and concepts of water resources affect the effectiveness of learning. "Learning engagement" has a direct effect on "water knowledge" and an indirect effect on "water attitude", showing that the use of interactive activities by the science museum could enable students to learn actively. Moreover, it it effectively improve the correct concept of water use knowledge, and indirectly affect students' attitudes towards water use. "Water knowledge" has a direct effect on "water attitude", showing that participating in water conservation activities could effectively increase students' attention to water use. This model analyzed the factors affecting the effectiveness of students' participation in water conservation activities, and the research results can serve as references to the planning of related activities of science museums in the future.
