高中「材料科技」奠基課程學生接受狀況之分析研究

The Analysis of Students' Acceptance on Material Technology Curriculum in the Education of Senior High School

摘要


「材料科技」是一門兼顧理論與實用的學問,更是所有傳統產業與高科技工業的基礎。在目前國內有關材料科技的奠基課程大多出現在大學及研究所階段,高中階段並無相關課程;期望透過本研究之「材料科技」奠基課程的實際教學,讓高中生能夠在課程實施中,有機會探索高瞻材料科技,並提升學生在材料科技與科技的素養。 本研究對象為一年級中挑選出兩個實驗班級,進行為期一學年,分為上下學期交錯進行一系列之高溫超導、光電高分子課程。研究方法採用觀察法、訪談、問卷調查法,探究學生在課程接受況狀之調查研究。將分析結果共分為課程流暢度、課程難易度、授課教師的表達方式、學生收穫、課程的安排及進行五部分。研究主要結果如下: 一、課程的安排時間不當,造成學生課程進度的銜接困難 二、學生背景知識、教師教學經驗不足,影響課程流暢度 三、高一學生背景知識不足,造成學生在學習上有實質困難 四、授課教師的口才及教學技巧為影響學生「材料科技」課程之重要因素 五、不同功能組學生,在「材料科技」課程結束後,有不同的收穫表現 六、學生受限升學的壓力,造成學習意願不高,但有興趣同學仍會設法突破萬難進行學習,提高其未來選擇材料科系就讀之意願 最後,依據本研究之發現及結果,提出具體之建議。

Materal technology is learning both theoretical and practical, especially being the foundation of traditional and high-tech industry. Recently, material technology curriculum is mostly in the stages of university and graduate school in Taiwan. There's no relative curriculum in senior high school. By the practical teaching with material technology curriculum, this analysis can expectedly give senior high school students opportunities to explore and promote their technological accomplishments of material technology. The participants in this study are two classes picked out from the first grade in the senior high school. It expectedly proceeds for one academic year and interlacedly put the superconductor and conjugated polymer curriculum into practice for the per semester in the acadenic year. In this study, we adopt the methods of observation, interviews, and surveys to explore the research for students' acceptance on this curriculum. We analyzed the result for five parts: the curriculum smoothness, the curriculum difficulty levels, expressing manners for teachers, the students' harvest and the curriculum arrangements and proceeding. The conclusions of this study were shown as following: 1. The time of curriculum arrangements is improper. This causes difficulties for students' engagement with curriculum progression. 2. The insufficiency for students’ background knowledge and teachers' teaching experiences affects the curriculum smoothness. 3. That the senior high school students at the first grade are insufficent for their background knowledge causes them real difficulties in learning. 4. The teacher expressing manners and teaching skills are important factors to affect students on material technology curriculum. 5. After material technology curriculum, students in different functional groups have different performances of their harvest. 6. That students are limited by the pressure of entering universities causes the lowness of their learning intentions. But the students with high interests will still try to break through all difficulties to carry on the study and enhance their intentions of majoring in material technology. Finally, resting on the discovery and the result for this study, we bring up the concrete proposals.
