Regenerative combustion technology uses honeycomb-type regenerator to exchange and recover heat with flue gas directly. The flue gas temperature can be down to 250℃ and the combustion air temperature can rise to 800℃ when the furnace temperature is 1200℃. Regenerative combustion technology can save fuel and also enhance the flame stability of combustion with Coke Oven Gas (COG.) The reciprocal firing also enhances the total heat flux and the uniform temperature for furnace. The Regenerative combustion technology is used in Ladle furnaces and heating furnaces so far that can achieve more energy saving.
