透過厭氧消化技術將有機廢棄物轉製生質沼氣:回顧與展望

摘要


政府近年來積極推動「五加二」創新產業計畫,為了有效擴大國內能資源之永續循環,農業生質廢棄物再利用應是未來重點政策方向。台灣年均農業生質廢棄物量眾多,再利用應朝向生產高經濟價值之產品,例如:能源燃料、電力、化學品、建築材料及肥料等,實現永續消費與製造之理念,邁向循環生物經濟。本研究針對厭氧消化技術將有機廢棄物轉製生質沼氣,進行回顧與展望分析。本研究先說明國內可用農業有機廢棄物物料現況,並評估厭氧消化技術之績效;同時,評估其環境與經濟效益,例如:對於溫室氣體減量之貢獻程度。最後,依據國內現況,提出推廣農業有機廢棄物能源化應用策略規劃。

Recently, the Government aggressively promotes the "5+2" Industrial Innovation Plans to enlarge the sustainable circularity of energy and resources in Taiwan. The utilization of agricultural biowastes should be one of the key directions and policies as we produce a significant amount of agricultural biowastes annually in Taiwan. The agricultural biowastes could be utilized and converted to high value-added products, such as bioenergy, biofuels and bioelectricity, chemicals, building materials, and fertilizers. Therefore, the concept of sustainable consumption and production could be realized to achieve a circular bio-economy. In this article, we first illustrate the situations of available organic wastes in Taiwan, and then highlight the technical concerns of anaerobic digestion for treating organic wastes. We also briefly summarize the environmental and economic benefits of anaerobic digestion, such as greenhouse gas reduction potential. Lastly, we propose several perspectives and prospects, in terms of policies, for effectively deploying anaerobic digestion technologies in Taiwan.
