民宿在住宿產業的角色與定位之探討

摘要

本研究目的主要是藉由探討民宿的基本定義、設置區域、規模、設施與設備，來了解民宿的特質，並藉此找出民宿在住宿產業中的角色與定位。研究方法為文獻回顧法與檔案分析法，主要藉由相關文獻與法規的探討，歸納整理出民宿與旅館在基本定義、設置區域、規模、設施與設備上的相同點以及相異點，進而釐清民宿的角色與定位。研究結果發現，民宿在住宿產業的角色為提供旅客住宿設施與服務之住所，且在經營設施與設備上，提供基本的住宿設施與設備，定位上則是以家庭副業式經營、利用自用住宅空間、小規模經營為主，民宿主人會與旅客間多有互動與交流，並且會與當地文化與景觀資源結合，提供旅客體驗當地文化的管道。

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the role and position of B&B. To realize the role and position of B&B, the pertinent literature is reviewed in this study, including regulations in accommodation industry. The study summarizes the similarity and difference between B&B and hotel, and the results are as follows: 1. The role of B&B in the accommodation industry is to provide a dwelling place, basic facilities and equipment and services for the guests. 2. The position of B&B is described as follows: (1) B&B is managed by family sideline business. (2) B&B has household dwelling places. (3) B&B is small-scale operation pattern. (4) Guests can have high interaction with B&B owners. (5) Guests can have the chance to experience the local cultures and enjoy the natural environment in B&B.
