從急診醫療團隊醫護人員及醫務社工觀點－探討急診醫療團隊中社會工作者之角色

摘要

究竟急診社工身處多重壓力的環境，是如何看待自身的專業角色，而其他醫療團隊成員對其角色的期待為何？若是兩者的看法不一，急診社工又將如何因應迎面而來的困境呢？本研究試圖以急診社會工作者為主體，從急診社工與其他醫療團隊成員的角度出發，藉由深度訪談法，分別從兩種角色的觀點來探索，彼此對急診社工的感受與體認，具體呈現急診社會工作的樣貌。除了讓其他醫療團隊成員，更理解急診醫務社工在其中的角色定位外，透過彼此的相互體認與了解，共同發揮團隊合作的力量，以提供病患適切的專業服務，同時提供急診社會工作者對角色定位的再反思。本研究透過實務經驗結合研究調查，目的在探討急診醫護人員對急診社會工作者的角色認知、期待及醫療團隊運作之情形，並藉此了解急診社會工作者所面對的挑戰及因應策略。本研究採用質性研究方法，分別對三名急診社會工作者與九位急診醫護人員進行深度訪談，並將兩部分訪談內容整理及分析。本研究過程發現：急診醫護人員認為急診社會工作者，在醫療團隊中扮演一定的角色；急診社會工作者在醫療團隊中實際執行歸屬於社會工作者的的任務；急診社會工作者與醫護人員主要互動情境；及急診社會工作者面對的挑戰為何？基於上述研究發現，本文分別從組織政策、醫院管理者、急診社會工作者的觀點，整理出急診醫務社會工作者，所能採取的因應策略：包括個人與團隊合作、外在環境等層面，以提供急診實務工作者之參考。

What kind of pressures should a social worker in a medical emergency team endure? How do social workers consider their professional roles, and how do the other members in a health care teams assess the roles of social worker? If the viewpoints from both sides are different, how will social worker response to the oncoming situation. This study attempts to explore the role of social workers and their situations in emergency teams. It would contribute to a better mutual realization and understanding for both sides. So that the whole team could offer patients appropriate professional services, while for social workers better Reflections on the role would be provided. This study used qualitative research methods, respectively, three social workers and nine emergency medical personnels were interviewed. It included 12 depth interviews, and two parts of interviews were collated and analyzed. The research findings are as follows. First, emergency medical personnel believed, social workers have to play a role in the health care team. Second, social workers actually perform tasks belonging to social workers. Third, social workers and medical staff are working, primarily in a interactive context. Forth, the social workers in emergency have to face some challenges. Based on the above findings, the author of made some suggestions from the standpoints of organizational policy, of hospital administrators, of social workers. It tried to offer coping strategies for the emergency medical social workers.
