「變身術」,服裝創作的假面告白—透過影像虛實語意的手法操作介入自我與服裝之間

摘要


本創作論文,以文學家三島由紀夫(Mishima Yukio,1925-1970)之半自傳性小說《假面的告白》所揭示的「演技」精神,呼應出自我變身的動機及創作者內省表白的企圖。實驗創作試圖從一連串影像、錄像、實驗出發,發堀出內在的心理空間。透過立體化的服裝展演及告白儀式展開一場自我探索的冒險。影像、錄像揭示了「我」存在及其功能性的證據作用,透過短暫的紀錄方式擷取了變身過程中的重要養分─「時間」。從時間取得的各種「情緒轉換」、「紊亂思緒」逐一拼湊服裝外在的輪廓與形象,透過視覺化概念服裝(Visual Concept Clothing)的發展,逐步規劃出「我」之變身行動。

In this thesis, borrowing the spirit of ”performance” from Yukio Mishima's semi-autobiography, Confessions of a Mask, I attempt to illustrate my motivation of self-transformation and self-confession. This project starts from a series of images, videos and experiments that represent the psychic space of mine. I embark on my adventure of self-explosion by exhibiting the 3-dimensionalized clothing and by the rite performance of self-confession. Those videos and images provide the evidence of ”my own existence,” and those recordings somewhat freeze and preserve the key element of transformation- ”time.” I carefully collect every moment of ”emotional shift” and ”emotional chaos” and make the collage for the external silhouette of garments and self-image. Following the development of my visual concept clothing, I gradually figure out the action list of metamorphosis of ”me.”
