南部地區原師範體系大學音樂系學生職涯規劃情形

Career Planning of Undergraduate Music Majors from Universities Originated as Teachers Colleges in Southern Taiwan

摘要


本研究旨在探討南部地區原師範體系之大學音樂系學生職涯規劃的情形,分析不同背景變項之音樂系學生職涯規劃的差異情形,並探究其職涯選擇及影響因素。本研究採用問卷調查法,研究工具為「南部地區原師範體系之大學音樂系學生職涯規劃與影響因素調查」問卷。以南部地區三所大學音樂系大二、大三及大四學生,共238人為研究對象,問卷回收率為100%,有效問卷共計230份。所得資料以單因子變異數及獨立樣本t考驗、描述統計等方式進行統計分析。本研究之結論如下:一、南部地區原師範體系之大學音樂學系學生職涯規劃情形為明確定向。二、不同性別、年級、主修類別、音樂班就讀背景之南部地區原師範體系之大學音樂系學生,在職涯規劃情形沒有顯著差異。修習教育學程與否,在職涯規劃情形有顯著差異,有修習教育學程者較沒有修習過教育學程者為佳。三、南部地區原師範體系之大學音樂系學生,最想從事之職業排列,依序為器樂/聲樂教師、其他類之職業、演奏/演唱家、學校教師。四、「個人對自我的期許」為影響南部地區原師範體系之大學音樂系學生職涯選擇最主要之因素。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the career development status and career choice of undergraduate music majors from three universities originated as teachers colleges and normal university in Southern Taiwan. The differences in career planning between subjects with various demographic factors were analyzed. Factors that affect career choices were also discussed. Survey was utilized as the method of the study, using self-developed Questionnaire "Career Planning and Choice Factors of Undergraduate Music Majors in Southern Taiwan" as the research tool. The questionnaires were sent to 238 subjects, who were sophomores, juniors, and seniors of the undergraduate music majors in three colleges located in Southern Taiwan. The return rate was 100%, and a total of 230 (96.6%) questionnaires were effective. Data were then analyzed using ANOVA, t-test, and descriptive-statistics. The following conclusions were drawn as a result of the study: 1. Undergraduate music majors from universities originated as teachers colleges in Taiwan had a clear direction of career development. 2. Demographic backgrounds such as gender, year of attendance, instrumental/vocal major, and music-gifted class experience showed no significant difference in the career development status. However, pre-service teacher training program experience demonstrated significant difference. Students who were in the pre-service teacher training program had more positive attitude toward career planning. 3. Career choices among the subjects of the study were ranked in the following order: instrumental/vocal teachers, "other" occupations, professional instrumentalists/singers, and the last was school teachers. 4. "Self-expectation" was the main factor affecting the career choice of the subjects in this study.
