Changing to Cope: Classrooms During and After the Pandemic

以改變應萬變:疫情期間和之後的課堂

摘要


As teaching and learning environments worldwide adapt and attempt to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, which is still ongoing, both necessary changes as well as effective strategies for learning can begin to become apparent to educators. Changes and adaptive strategies are most likely to come from an understanding and appreciation of mistakes and failures to adequately and timely react to this worldwide crisis which at times effectively shut down all aspects of society with schools at a forefront of concern. This paper explores and expounds upon generally accepted problems within the academic domain that are connected either directly or indirectly to the effects and reactions to the Covid-19 epidemic at the primary, secondary, and college school levels. By examining those problems, solutions amounting to changes and strategies going into an uncertain future are discussed in light of practicality and feasibility and thereby giving guidance in policy, procedure, and methodological changes.

新冠肺炎疫情大流行自2020年持續至今,造成的衝擊讓全球教學環境持續調整及試著從中復甦,教育工作者逐漸體認到,必須作出必要的改變和研擬有效的學習策略。這些改變和調整策略,最可能源自對錯誤和失敗的理解學習,如此一來,才能充分及時因應這場全球危機,這樣的危機不時會造成整個社會停擺,而學校就是最令人擔憂的一環。本文探討並闡述學術界一般公認的問題,這些問題與小學、中學和大學等各級學校對新冠肺炎疫情造成的影響和所作的反應直接或間接相關。藉由探討這些問題,討論針對改變及策略的解決方案是否切實可行,為調整政策、程序和方法提供指引。
