探討社區銀髮族使用電子遊戲機預防衰弱之成效：以快樂時光機為例
The Effects of Applying Arcade Game Machines on Preventing Community Elder's Frailties: the Well-being Machine
摘要
台灣於2018年正式成為高齡社會，面對高齡社會的來臨，政府積極地推動預防及延緩失能的相關政策。近年來，老人福利機構及社區照顧關懷據點辦理之健康促進活動，常包括融入遊戲元素的預防及延緩失能輔療方法，並用於預防衰弱。本研究運用快樂時光機電子遊戲機，導入遊戲方案來增進銀髮族身心功能和預防衰弱。研究目的有：（1）了解社區銀髮族對遊戲之相關需求；（2）探索導入快樂時光機於社區銀髮族遊戲的妥適方法；（3）評估社區銀髮族使用快樂時光機後之預防衰弱和延緩老化成效；研究方法運用準實驗設計法，以快樂時光機搭配遊戲輔療之介入，採用SOF量表進行成效之前後測。研究發現：（1）社區銀髮族不僅對電子遊戲機有興趣，且需求高；（2）遊戲介入之妥適方式為以電子遊戲機搭配獎勵機制，並宜在活動場地佈建遊戲角落空間，以利執行遊戲方案；（3）透過SOF三項指標量測，證實銀髮族參與二個月後可達到預防衰弱之成效，有效延緩老化。

Taiwan has been becoming an aged society in 2018. Faced with the advent of an aged society, the government is actively promoting policies for delaying and preventing the seniors' disability. In recent years, both senior citizens welfare institution and communities engage in the activities of health promotion. The complementary therapies are often used to prevent frailty. Therefore, this research used arcade game machines with play therapy to enhance the physical and mental functions of the seniors and to prevent the frailty in advance, and remain their original physical conditions level. The objectives included: (1) to understand the demands of the seniors in the community for playing games; (2) to explore the applications of arcade game machines to community seniors on play-therapy interventional approach; (3) assessing the use of arcade game machines by the seniors in the community to prevent and aging deferring. Research method is quasi-experimental design. Intervention of applying arcade game machines and performs pre-test and post-test. The measurement tool is the "SOF index" and the purpose of research can be achieved. The result of this study found that: (1) the demand for arcade game machines by the community seniors is high, (2) through the quasi-experimental design to participate in the arcade game machines with play therapy, the intervention is phased in the play corner, (3) through SOF index, the result is that the machines achieving effective on the prevention of frailty and aging deferring in two months.
