台灣的人口結構快速老化,隨著失能人口的增加,居家照顧服務的需求與日俱增,其中照顧服務員是第一線的服務提供者,也是長照服務產業中最重要的人力資源。隨著我國長照制度的變革,居家照顧服務員面臨許多職場的變動與挑戰,因此本研究擬探討居家照顧服務員之生涯調適力以及影響居家照顧服務員調適力的可能因素以進一步了解居家照顧服務員如何適應生涯變動。本研究以台中市居家照顧服務單位的照顧服務員為對象,採用「生涯調適力量表」進行調查研究,收集437份有效問卷。運用描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析等方法進行資料分析。研究發現如下:1.台中市居家照顧服務員在生涯調適力量表上的得分在中等以上。2.不同年齡、教育程度、專業背景、目前單位年資、計薪方式與照顧親屬經驗的居家照顧服務員之生涯調適力有顯著的差異。根據上述研究結果進行討論並提出有關居家照顧服務員生涯輔導及後續研究之建議。
With the increase of disabled population, demand for home care service is increasing. Home care workers is the major service provider and the most important human resource in the long-term care industry. As the long-term care policy changes, home care workers face ongoing challenge of their career development. This study aims to find out the home care workers' career adaptability and explore the differences in career adaptability among different demographic backgrounds. The valid sample of 437 care workers was selected from home care service institution in Taichung City. The study adopted survey research design. The instruments include "Career Adaptability Scale Taiwan Version 2.0". Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA were used to analyze collected responses of participants. The results indicated that: 1. Home care workers in Taichung City home care institution have good career adaptability. 2. There were significant differences in home care workers' career adaptability among different age, education level, professional background, working years in current institution, pay method, perceived health and care experience for relatives. Based on the findings, recommendations of career guidance for home care workers and future research are suggested.
