An Analysis of Pace Elite Swimmer during Olympic Competition

摘要

The purpose of this study was to analyze the pace of elite swimmer during Olympic competition. According the record of Olympic swimming games, we builde up the regression formula to be the reference. After the statistical analysis, the results showed that.(1)The most methods were ”even-pacing” specializing in sprints events. As the distance increasing, the numbers of 200 meter events swimmers that to use the ”fast-slow pacing” method were increased. The middle- and long-distance free-style stroke events had higher percentage by using ”slow-fast pacing” method.(2)The significant correlation between competitive record and times each interval. According the results, we buildup the regression formula. We suggested the coaches and swimmers could be the reference.
