不同地區年級之聽障生對游泳無障礙環境的觀點比較

A Comparision among Hearing Impairment View Points of Swimming in Disability: Free Environment in Different Areas and Gardes

摘要


臺灣四面環海且山高水急,溺水事件經常發生,所以游泳為必備能力之一,體委會也將游泳列為全民運動人口倍增計畫中的二項重點運動項目之一。聽障者由於耳朵受損,在動作學習與言語溝通上較為困難,因而容易產生挫折感,要使一位聽障者游泳運動學習上有所成就,則游泳池無障礙環境的提供則是必備的措施。本研究以240位啟聰學校聽障生為研究對象,目的在於了解聽障生對游泳池無障環境之需求。研究發現:不同的地區、年級、喜歡游泳程度、參與游泳次數之聽障生在游泳池無障礙環境需求上有顯著的差異。並且顯示聽障生在游泳池無障礙環境上是迫切的的需求,所以相關教育單位應重視啟聰學校的游泳課程、著手規劃游泳池、並且培育游泳教學師資,以提升聽障生的游泳運動能力。

Drowned accidents often occur in Taiwan, thus the swimming skill was the basic requirement for all students. National Council of Physical Fitness and Sports have taken swimming into Sports for All. Hearing impairment people could improve respiration function by swimming. They also could save their own lives and enjoy swimming. Because of the difficulties on language communication and movement learning, hearing impairment people easily got setback. To improve the swimming skill of students with hearing impairment, the provision of disability-free environment of swimming pool was necessary. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to understand hearing impairment students' needs of disability-free environment of swimming pool. The subjects of the study were 240 students of deal schools. The findings showed that there was a significance level between hearing impairment students with different area, grade, the degree of enjoying swimming, the frequency of participation in swimming and the needs of disability-free environment and the need of the disability-free environment of swimming pool. In addition, building the disability-free environment of swimming pool for hearing impairment students was an urgent action. Consequently, educational authorities should pay attention to the swimming courses, undertake to plan facilties relative to swimming pool and cultivate teachers for teaching swimming, so that the swimming skill of the hearing impairment students could be improved.
