國中籃球教練領導行為之研究

A Study of the Leadership Behavior of Basketball Coaches in Junior High School

摘要


本研究欲比較男、女國中籃球選手在知覺教練領導行為與喜好教練領導行為之差異及瞭解選手知覺教練領導行為對整體領導行為滿意度之預測情形。以參加94學年度國中籃球聯賽男子與女子選手為研究對象,共96名,並以「國中籃球教練領導行為量表」為研究工具進行調查,所得資料以描述性統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析(ANOVA)及多元逐步迴歸等統計方法進行分析,結果發現:(一)國中籃球男子與女子選手在「知覺訓練與指導行為」、「知覺民主行為」、「知覺關懷行為」、「知覺獎勵行為」及「知覺團隊行為」等五個向度上,選手知覺的教練領導行為顯著低於喜好的教練領導行為;而在「知覺專制行為」上,選手知覺的教練領導行為則高於喜好的教練領導行為。(二)男子選手在知覺「訓練與指導行為」上顯著高於女子選手。(三)男子選手在喜愛「訓練與指導行為」與「獎勵行為」上顯著高於女子選手。女子選手在喜好「關懷行為」與「民主行為」上顯著高於男子選手。(四)球齡短的選手較球齡長的選手,知覺更多的「訓練與指導行為」。此外,球齡長的選手較球齡短的選手越喜愛教練的「獎勵行為」。(五)不論是男子選手或女子選手,知覺「訓練與指導行為」皆為整體領導行為滿意度的最大預測變項。

The purpose of this study were (1) to compare the differences between male and female athletes on perceived coaches' leadership behaviors and preferred coaches' leadership behaviors; (2) to explore the effect of perceived coaches' leadership behavior of junior high school basketball athletes in predicting satisfaction. Samples included 96 male and female athletes selected from the semi-final of Junior High School Basketball Allied Competition in the academic year of 2005. ”Scale of Leadership Behavior for the Junior High School Basketball Coaches” was employed for the survey. After statistical analysis with the descriptive statistics, independent-sample t test, one-way ANOVA and stepwise multi-regression, the following results were obtained: 1. Both male and female athletes appeared less ”perceived” than ”preferred” on five dimensions of ”perceived training and instructions”, ”perceived democratic behavior”, ”perceived social support”, ”perceived positive feedback” and ”perceived team behavior”. However, athletes perceived more than preferred on ”perceived autocratic behavior”. 2. The male athletes had significant higher consciousness scores of ”training and instructions” than female counterparts. 3. The male athletes had significant higher preference scores of ”training and instructions”, and ”positive feedback” than female counterparts; the female athletes had significant higher preference scores of ”social support” and ”democratic behavior” than male counterparts. 4. In the length of training year, the junior athletes had significantly higher consciousness scores of ”training and instructions” than their senior counterparts. Moreover, senior players had more preference of ”positive feedback” than junior counterparts. 5. ”Perceived training and instruction” appeared most powerful in predicting satisfaction for both male and female athletes.
