大專運動會田徑獎牌數之學校排名研究
A Study of the Ranking of Athletic Championships of Taiwan Collegiate Games
摘要
大專運動會從第一屆1952年於臺灣省立師範學校舉辦迄今，已經五十年有餘。從第一屆至今，每屆的競賽種類項目隨著主辦單位的不同而有所改變，唯有田徑項目始終未曾變動，亦為每屆參賽種類與人數最多的一項運動。本研究時程從1988－2007年，以文本分析法，探討大專運動會甲組田徑項目總錦標得分計算方式對排名的影響。歷年來田徑團體總錦標係以積分制計算，累積得分最高者即為總冠軍，積分制方式會有單位參賽人數多寡的問題，被戲稱為人海戰術制度。今年度（2008）起，為與國際接軌及提昇競技水準，改以獎牌制作為計算方式，以金銀銅牌數量來決定總錦標得主。目的主要在探討大專甲組田徑項目得牌數作為評鑑項目指標的可行性，以及兩種計算方式對田徑總錦標排名的影響。結果發現，1988－2007大專運動會田徑甲組總獎牌數為2,038面，共有27所學校獲得獎牌，獎牌數前六名之學校依序為國立體院、臺灣體院、台北體院、臺灣師大、輔仁大學及文化大學。團體總錦標採用獎牌制計算，突顯金牌數為主要目的，如此更符合大專運動會追求更快更高更遠的目標。

It's been over 50 years from the 1st Taiwan Collegiate Games come off at Taiwan College of Education. Track & field events was most popular of the past, in even, athletics was the only events never been prune off when we looking back on the records. We used the retrospective analysis method to investigate the influence of championship calculation method on records of first level track & field events of the past 20 years. In the past, the score strategy was used for championship grade calculation, however, the deficit of score calculation strategy was the tricky that there were more participants of some colleges to get more points to win the championships. In contrast, Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation (CTUSF) decides adapting the new calculation method; medals strategy, the championships was decided by the numbers of medals, that would be a positive decision for athletics events. The purpose of this research was as follow, first, investigating the usability of the numbers of medals for Taiwan colleges' evaluation and accreditation. Second, to investigate the influence of two score calculation methods for athletics events championships of Taiwan collegiate games. In results, there were 2038medals of athletics events of the first level during 1988 to 2007, and there were 27 colleges were ever got medals on the record. The top 6 colleges were NCPES, NTCPE, TPEC, NTNU, FJU and PCCU, respectively. In conclusion, we suggest the medals strategy was better and suitable way for athletics events championship score calculation.
