Learning Satisfaction of Physical Fitness Course for Alternative Military Service

摘要


The purpose of this study was to investigate the learning satisfaction of physical fitness course for alternative military service. The participants of this study were 118 new soldiers who were alternative military service in a camp and the average age were 23.2 ± 2.5 years. The participants were divided into three groups: senior high school group (n = 40), junior college group (n = 40) and master's degree group (n = 38). The physical fitness course were proceeding for three weeks, two times a week and each class for 90 minutes. All participants completed the test after the course. The descriptive statistic, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA statistical methods were utilized to analyze the datas. The results indicated that: 1. The total average of learning satisfaction on physical fitness courses (M = 4.03) was leveled to middle high satisfaction. All factors of learning satisfaction was listed as below: teaching specialty (M = 4.03), companion relationship (M = 4.15), learning environment (M = 3.64), administration assistance (M = 3.62). 2. The learning satisfaction of the physique standard group (M = 4.25) was higher than the non standard group (M = 3.85) (t = 8.08, p < .05). 3. The learning satisfaction of the junior college group (M = 4.21) was higher than senior high school group (M = 3.97) and master's degree group (M = 3.91)(F = 11.39, p < .05). Conclusion: The learning satisfaction on physical fitness courses for alternative military service were tendency high satisfaction, the physique standard group gained better learning satisfaction than the non standard group, and junior college group gained better learning satisfaction than senior high school group and master's degree group. The suggestion for future study can focus on the teaching effects of physical fitness for alternative military service.
