摘要

2008北京奧運對於中國帶來多方面的影響，本文所探討的問題在於京奧對於中國民族主義的意義。民族主義仍當前世界上的一股強大力量，在運動場域中更是屢見不鮮；奧林匹克主義其實就潛藏民族主義的意涵。自晚清以來，知識分子振興中國的民族意識，運用各種方式，為求中國之團結富強。2008年中國政府舉全國之力，辦出一場空前絕後奧運會，這種舉國體制所蘊藏的民族主義力量是無法掩蓋的。本文採用文獻分析法及歷史研究法，先理解民族主義概念，進而分析中國民族主義的發展；因中國特有的歷史背景，民族主義在傳入中國後的發展脈絡一直拖離不了與政治的相關，各種派系都希望可以借之發揮。因此，有別於西方理解的民族主義，中國民族主義一直想塑造的是一個強大且現代化的「完整中國」。我們認為，運動與民族主義的結合是中國民族主義的新進程。北京奧運就是一個新的中國民族主義號。

The 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing has influenced China in many aspects, and the article will investigate what changes the Beijing Olympic Games has brought to the nationalism of China. Nationalism is actually embedded in Olympicism, and it has been a very powerful force in the world and prevails especially on sports field. Since the late Ching dynasty, intellectuals have tried every effort to raise the Chinese's national awareness to pursue the unity and prosperity of China. In 2008, China enlisted most of its population and money to held the unprecedentedly successful Olympic Games, which clearly revealed the power of their nationalism. By means of literature analysis and historical research, we will first introduce the basic concepts of nationalism and then analyze its development. Due to the unique historical background, nationalism in China has long been developed closely along with politics and became a powerful tool for different parties to expand their powers. Therefore, different from what has been realized by the westerns, nationalism in China usually longs for the establishment of a strong and modernized country as a whole. Therefore, we may conclude that the combination of sports and nationalism is the milestone of the development of China nationalism, and the Beijing Olympic Games is right the symbol of it.
