Influence of Exercise Training for Post-Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery

摘要

Background: The major evolution of cardiac surgery occurs from the risk of deaths to transfer to the risk of compliance ills. Older patients were often excluded from heart surgery before. After beating heart coronary artery bypass surgery are gradually replacing traditional coronary artery bypass surgery. The change of this tendency means that clinical characteristics of such surgery of patients likely to have more senior citizens than ever before. Patients may have more acute and more complications. There is rarely well documented related to the heart of rehabilitation exercise training for patients after cardiac surgery to reduce re-hospitalization. This research would assess re-hospitalization of the post-cardiac surgery patients who received cardiac rehabilitation. Methods: This was a retrospective study. The data collection was from the Chiayi Christian Hospital Cardiac Surgery implementation of beating heart coronary artery bypass surgery (OPCAB) patients. There were a total of 172 patients included in this study. Cardiac patients after discharge from hospital were the participation of experimental groups, and no receiving cardiopulmonary physical therapy of patients was the control group. We calculated the frequency due to post-discharge heart disease or postoperative complications related hospitalizations. Statistics: Descriptive statistics indicated that a patient's basic information, and Chi squares to discuss the re-hospitalization of exercise training and control group, and t test for continuous variables to discuss the related impacts of rehospitalization. The significant level is p < .05. Results: 5 patients died within one year after discharge. A total of 167 (male 116, female 51) took part in this study. An involved in the rehabilitation of a total of 41 cases (24.6%), age 65.19 ± 10.78 years, height 161.48 ± 7.82 cm, weight 64.19 ± 11.94 kg, BMI 24.52 ± 3.58 kg / m^2. Re-hospitalization was a total of 34 people (20%). There is significant difference in re-hospitalization rates between receiving sports training and non receiving training (χ^2 = 0.185, p = .017). Conclusion: Cardiac surgery patients. There are lower re-hospitalization rates after exercise training than patients did not participate in sports training.
