Predictions of Implicit Theory of Ability on 2×2 Achievement Goal Orientations

摘要


本研究目的為探討能力內隱理論對2×2成就目標理論之預測情形。本研究是以170名高中選手為研究對象,平均年齡為16.60±.91歲、平均球齡6.44±2.17年。研究方法採用自陳量表的調查法,使用的量表包括運動能力內隱理論量表、2 × 2成就目標量表修正版。本研究結果:一、本質論與精熟-逃避目標、表現-趨近目標、表現-逃避目標有顯著的正相關;增進論與精熟-趨近目標、表現-趨近目標呈顯著正相關。二、增進論可以正向預測精熟-趨近目標;本質論可以正向預測精熟-逃避目標;增進論可以正向預測表現-趨近目標;本質論可以正向預測表現-逃避目標。本研究結論:根據研究結果與討論,本研究也針對實際運動訓練應用及未來研究提出建議。

Purpose: To investigate the predictions of implicit theories of ability on 2×2 achievement goal orientations. Methods: The participants were 170 senior high school athletes (152 males, 18 females) recruited from several senior schools in central Taiwan. Average age was 16.59 ± .91 years; average training time was 6.47 ± .95 years. After receiving the informed consent, Participants were asked to complete a questionnaire assessing their implicit theories of sport ability scale and 2×2 achievement goal orientations. Results: Entity theory was positively correlated with mastery-avoidance goal, performance-approach goal, performance-avoidance goal and incremental theory was positively correlated with mastery-approach goal, performance-approach goal. In the prediction, incremental theory was positively predictor of mastery-approach goal; entity theory was positively predictor of mastery-avoidance goal; incremental theory was positively predictor of performance-approach goal; entity theory was positively predictor of performance-avoidance goal. Conclusion: According to the results and discussion, the practical application and future research suggestions are provided.
