澎湖人的時空記憶與生活場域之重建

摘要


澎湖人的生活模式,隨時代演變而有所傳承,或隨世代發展而斷層。生活環境中的漁場、住宅及場所,已是島嶼變與不變的生活空間。「海」是澎湖重要的生活命脈,更是居民賴以維生的生活場所;然而,海,不再只是自然生態,隨時空移轉,其具有地方生活與人、物之間的多重關係,包括在地資源的運用、生活環境的認識等地方知識(local knowledge)。不論是海域或家戶的生活環境,人的生活記憶影響了時空背景的形成。人與環境,透過人對海的生活感知,以親身感受一年四季氣候,孕育獨自的生活觀點。人與家的相處,劃開了空間領域的生活詮釋,每一段成長記憶,深切地建構家族的生活智慧。倫理尊卑、生活童玩、行為模式等,皆是人與家相互依存下的結果。本文主要透過三個面向,描述澎湖人與生活場域的種種層次關係。一是海域生活環境,澎湖人與海為生,海域觀點因應日常生活的需要,形成具意義化、象徵性及認知性的生活場域。一是家戶的生活環境,莊氏祖厝在人去樓空之後,遺留的是一刻又一刻的生活觸動,生活的移動性與住屋的配置性將會是這群人心中的記憶空間以及重要的實質回憶;最後則是人的記憶,成長階段塑成一段段寶貴的生活經驗與代代相傳的生活文本。

The Penghu people's mode of life evolved or branched over generations. The fisheries and residential areas in the living environment are already the changing yet integral living spaces of the island. The sea is an important lifeline of Penghu, especially for the residents relying on sustainable living. However, the sea not only is a natural ecosystem, but also changes in time and space. There is an important relationship between the local life and the people and animals and includes the local knowledge of the use of land resources and living environment. Whether it is of the living environment of the sea or household, people's living memory influences the formation of the space-time background. Through the life knowledge of the sea, the people experienced all four seasons and created the view of living alone in the environment. People's interactions with their homes have opened up interpretations of living spaces. Each memory of growing up constructs an important part of the life wisdom of families. Hierarchical ethics, child toys, and behavior models are all the results of the interdependence between people and their homes. This paper describes Penghu people's various hierarchical relationships with the life field from three orientations. One orientation is the sea life environment. The people of Penghu take the sea as the source of life. In response to the needs of daily life, the sea perspective has formed a life field that is meaningful, symbolic and cognitive. Another orientation is the household living environment. After the village's ancestral house was deserted, touches of life were left behind moment by moment. The mobility of life and the configuration of housing are thus the memory space and an important memory of essence in the heart of these people. The final orientation is the people's memory. The growth stage is molded into sections of valuable life experiences and life text that is passed from generation to generation.
