咖啡因對大白鼠腦組織耗氧量的影響
The Effect of Caffeine on Oxygen Consumption of Rat Brain Tissue
摘要
雄大白鼠經咖啡因處理二小時後，其腦組織耗氧量以腦前部（大腦皮質為主要部份）影響最大，四次劑量才增加為對照組的2倍，六次劑量則為2.5倍。但同劑量下注射六小時後，反而產生抑制效果。腦後部（主要為小腦）受咖啡因影響的程度較小，且效應遲緩，相同處理四小時後，耗氧量僅有少量的增加。

In this study, the oxygen consumption of rat brain tissue was accelerated by treatment with caffeine, and the effect on fore part (cerebrum) was higher than on hind part (cerebellum). After injection of ca ff e in e , the maximal effect on fore part of brain occured within 2 hours, increasing 200% and 250% of the normal value to 4 doses and 6 doses, but on hind part only slightly increasing after 4 hours.
