The Acute Toxic Effect of Mercury Chloride on the Heart of Marinc Bivalve Meretrix lusoria

摘要


本實驗在於研究無機汞急性毒害文蛤(Merelrix lusoria)心肌的情形。施行方法使用吸引電極及多用途記錄儀,記錄文蛤心肌細胞的活動電位和收縮張力。實驗中並探討、分析各種濃度之無機汞對其毒害的效應。使用吸引電極法測得文蛤心肌細胞活動電位:5.40±0.49mV,(mean±S.E.以下同)機械張力:225.0±29.0mg,50%平原期時距:1.0±0.09秒,心搏率:16.47±1.89次/分。在持續六十分鐘記錄中,顯著急性毒害文蛤心肌細胞的氯化汞濃度為5ppm。心肌受無機汞毒害時,其活動電位和心搏率皆漸減小,活動電位平原期時距延長而機械性收縮張力先有短暫性增強而後減弱的現象。若將心臟置於20ppm氯化汞溶液灌流時,在30分鐘內,心肌完企喪失其生理功能,若以50ppm的氯化汞灌流,則在15分鐘內心肌活動電位消逝。

In order to realize the acute intoxication of mercury chloride in marine bivalve, Merelrix lusoria, suction electrode and datagraph system were used to monitor the mechanical force and electrical activities in vivo of the ventricle of the heart.Using the suction electrode method, the myocardial action potential of the bivalve was 5.4±0.49 mV, mechanical force was 225.0±29.0 mg, 50 % plateau duration was 1.0±0.09 sec and heart rate was 16.47±1.89/min ( in artificial sea water , 24±1℃).The minimal toxic concentration of mercury chloride of the heart has been detected to be 5 ppm. For the myocardium of Meretrix lusoria, during the period of animal toxication, the cardiac action potential decreased rapidly, and the plateau duration persisted longer than a normal condition, however , the mechanical tens ion only increased at the begining of the recording and then decreased toward its minimal stage.
