光照對台灣水生韭葉片生長之影響

Effects of Light Irradiation on the Leaf Initiation and Elongation of Isoetes taiwanensis DeVol.

摘要


自然環境中夢幻湖西側臨近七星山的臺灣水韭葉片較長,而北側地區則平均每株的葉片數較多,這種差異可能是受到氣候的影響所致。在低強度光照下,生長箱中生長的臺灣水韭,在每天十四小時光照下,四個月後,平均每株新長的葉片數可高達35片,約為六小時光照者的兩倍,但二者平均葉長的差異則不顯著。室外在夏日強光下,縮減日照時間雖可增加葉長,但不能促進新葉產生,必需再藉遮光處理,使光照減為中等強度,方能促進新葉生長。我們的結果顯示,臺灣水韭葉片的生長會受高強度光照所抑制,且此種抑制不會因縮減光照時間而改變;中等強度光照短日照時間及低強度光照而日照時間加長都顯著利於葉片的增長及新葉的產生。

In the natural environment the leaves of the plants lsoetes taiwanensis DeVol that grown in the west part of Ment-Huan Lake, which lies close to the Seven Star Mountain, are longer than the others; and the plants that grown in north part have more leaf number. These morphological varibility seems to be affected by light irradiation, interrelates with the rainfall and cloudy sky.The leaf number of the plants that grow in growth chamber under lower light intensity and 14 hours photoperiod, reaches twice as much as that with 6 hours photoperiod, but without significant difference in the leaf length. In out-door, the plants grow under high intensity of summer irradiation, the increase of leaf length can be induced by the treatment of short photoperiod. More leaf initiation can only observed, if the light intensity has been reduced to median level.Our results indicate that the leaf growth of Isoetes plant were inhibited by high intensity of irradiation. This inhibition could not be avoided by the treatment of short photoperiod. Median intensity with short photoperiod as well as lower intensity with long photoperiod are more favorable for both leaf elongation and initiation of Isoetes plants.
