The dilemmas of Energy Integration and Development Policies in South America

The article aims to discuss the main dilemmas found in the current energy integration process in South America. It argues that a common and convergent policy is the most appropriate intrument, not only for the development of energy infrastructure, but also as a venue which could be used by the South American governments to achieve better standards of social and economic development in the region.
