摘要
科技不斷進步帶動媒體事業的活絡，也引領人類感官進入新紀元。數位廣播技術可以透過衛星或地面發射站來發射數位訊號以達到廣播的目的，除了傳送優質的音訊之外，更能提供數據傳訊及其他圖文的多媒體內容，對於未來廣播事業的發展將有很深的影響。自從歐洲地區確立了Eureka-147為數位廣播的標準之後，各國政府相繼投入數位廣播運作，台灣地區也於民國八十九年三月間進行試播實驗。根據廣電基金2000年所作台灣地區廣播收聽行為大調查顯示，台灣地區廣播事業仍有相當不錯的市場，而近年來在相關法令的鬆綁之下，廣播電臺競相成立，再加上網路科技的發展，整體而言，廣播事業的發展仍相當活躍。因此未來在廣播的發展應以不失去既有的聽眾人口為原則，另結合相關產業資源以豐富服務內容，朝空中的寬頻網路產業方向來邁進。

The Digital Audio Broadcas-ting (DAB) technology has brought the traditional radio business into a new era. In addition to better audio quality, DAB technology will also provide the audience data or information services. The DAB standard of EUREKA-147 has been adopted in Europe. In Taiwan, there was also experiment in broadcasting in March, 2000. According to a survey of radio listening behavior in Taiwan 2000, there is competitive advantage in radio business.
