摘要

電腦多媒體科技日新月異，網際網路資訊傳播效率不斷提升，幾近狂熱的資訊浪潮沖擊各行各業，甚至影響生活的每一層面，醫療衛生保健方面自然也不例外；再者，政府積極推動國家資訊基礎建設，「遠距醫療」、「醫療資訊網」、「虛擬醫院」已逐漸成為醫界耳熟能詳的名詞。本文將探討遠距醫療的形成背景、傳輸原理、預期效益，並說明台灣實踐遠距醫療的成果與價值，並嘗試提出遠距醫療的成果與價值，並嘗試提出遠距醫療將對醫療生時的衝擊，說明傳統醫師病患關係的轉變。

With the update of computer and multimedia science and the upgrade of the efficiency of information distribution on Internet, people in all of every occupations of life, even medical and health care workers have been stricken by hot information flow. Therefore, the government has been promoting and implementing National Information Infrastructure project, NII. The nouns of ”telemedicine”, ”medical information network”, and ”virtual hospital” have been known by medical society. This article will discuss the backgrounds, the principle so f transmission and expecting benefits of telemedicine in Taiwan, and try to outline the impact of medical environment and the changing relationships between physicians and patients.
