體育新聞報導多元化之研究－以《蘋果日報》、《自由時報》為例

摘要

在任何媒介理論中的討論，多元化是非常重要的。多元化的概念是媒體所追求的目標，但在目前的報業媒體中，是否每家報紙業者皆有做到此點，仍是眾說紛紜。媒體與體育之間一直是相扶相成的夥伴。隨著現代人逐漸著重視休閒活動，球員在國際舞臺上大放異彩，體育相關報導相對增加，皆顯示體育活動已成?國人所關心的一部份，閱聽人與媒體對體育賽事的報導皆愈來愈關注。本研究以《蘋果日報》與《自由時報》體育版?例，分析「新聞版面表現的多樣性」及「新聞內容的多樣性」。探討其體育版觀點的選擇與呈現上是否豐富多元，以完整的反映多元樣貌。研究結果?，「新聞版面表現的多樣性」上?《蘋果日報》略勝一疇。「新聞內容的多樣性」部分，新聞主題其呈現《自由時報》較?多元，所報導的主題比《蘋果日報》更?豐富。新聞涵蓋地區其呈現上，《蘋果日報》較著重於國際體育新聞，而《自由時報》則是臺灣地區體育新聞與國際體育新聞並重。本研究瞭解國內報紙如何因應媒體其競爭壓力，由於《蘋果日報》進入臺灣報業市場後，開始帶動國內報紙其報導方式。因此，面對競爭壓力，《自由時報》以增加內容多樣來迎接挑戰。

Diversity is essential to quality of media sphere. The diversity concept is the goal which all the media pursues, but in the present newspaper industry media, whether each newspaper entrepreneur all does have achieved this spot, still has wide divided opinions. Media and Sport has been catching complementary to each other. With the modern emphasis on leisure activities gradually, the players shine in the international arena, and the relative increase in sports-related reports, are showing that sporting events have become a part of peoples concern. Audience and media coverage of sports events are more and getting more attention. This research take ”Apple Daily” and ”The Liberty Times” sports page as an example, analyze the ”news in the performance of diversity” and ”the diversity of news content”, discusses its multiplication content. According to research results, ”news in the performance of diversity” for the ”Apple Daily” slightly better than one domain. However, in ”the diversity of news content” section, news topic for the ”Liberty Times” is more diverse than ”Apple Daily”. Talking about news coverage area of its presentation, the ”Apple Daily” focused on international sports news more, but ”Liberty Times” focus both in Taiwan and international sports news. Based on the understanding of the domestic media, and how the newspapers respond to competitive pressure, and ”Apple Daily” newspaper enter the Taiwan market, began to promote its presenting way of domestic newspapers. So, faced with competitive pressures, ”Liberty Times” decides to increase the variety of content to meet the challenge.
