南黃薊馬在冬瓜上之族群消長及其誘引調查

The Population Fluctuation and Trapping of Thrips palmi in Waxgourd

摘要


在冬瓜上,南黃薊馬(Thrips palmi Karny)一年中之族群密度高峰期出現在4月下旬,5月下旬,10月上旬及11月上旬。7月至9月族群密度最低,可能受6~7月連續下雨的影響。一日當中本蟲活動于冬瓜植株外部的個體,以傍晚及早晨較多,強光下之午後則多潛藏于冬瓜茸毛底部,故施藥時刻,亦應于傍晚或早晨施藥,較為有效。以黃、紅、白、綠、藍等不同顏色黏蟲板誘引成蟲結果,以白色誘引能力較強,次為黃色。黏蟲板之懸掛高度以0.5公尺誘引效果最佳,次為1公尺,其懸掛方式以垂直懸掛較平放誘引蟲數為多。

The annual population peaks of Thrips palmi in waxgourd were at late April and May, early October and November. Due to the continuous rainfall at June to July, the population density of T. palmi is the lowest from July to September. Daily activity time of T. palmi is on morning and evening that more insects was found above the leaves. Under strong sunshine condition, the thrips hide inside the leaf pubescence. It is recommended that the most effective time of chemical spraying is on morning and evening. The results of using different colors of sticky plate for trapping T. palmi indicated that the white color sticky plate have the best trapping ability, followed by yellow sticky plate. The placement height for sticky plate at 0.5 meter above the ground have the best result, followed by the height of one meter and vertically hanging the plate have the best trapping efficacy.
