乾豬糞對旱作生育及產量之影響

The Effect of Hog Manure Application on the Growth and Yield of Upland Crops

本試驗採用春作高粱-宿根高粱-秋作玉米之輪作系統,自1988年秋作玉米迄1991年宿根高粱三年共計九期作,試區分別設于彰化縣埤頭鄉鹼性粘板岩沖積土及台中縣外埔鄉酸性紅壤地區,以探討乾豬糞施用之效應。試驗結果顯示,施用乾豬糞處理對玉米及高粱之株高、穗重、千粒重及子實產量均有顯著效果,且該兩試區之結果頗為一致。以子實產量而言,不同期作及作物種類對乾豬糞之施用適量即不同。秋作玉米以施用乾豬糞20 t/ha配合化學肥料處理之產量最高,春作高粱及宿根高粱則以施用乾豬糞10 t/ha配合化學肥料之處理較適當。且施用乾豬糞處理可增加土壤中玉米根密度,促進根系分佈,其效果可達土壤深度30 cm。

Field trials were carried out at Changhua (slightly alkaline slate alluvial soil) and Taichung (strongly acidic red earth) under the sorghum-ratooned sorghum-corn cropping sequence during 1988-1991. Results showed that the application of hog manure 10 or 20 t/ha increased significantly the plant height, ear weight (or panicle weight), 1000-grain weight and grain yield of the test crops or two sites of experiment. The yield of fall corn response best to the treatment of hog manure 20 t/ha in combination with recommended chemical fertilizers. The spring sorghum and ratooned sorghum had a better grain yield under the application of hog manure 10 t/ha and chemical fertilizers. The hog manure application significantly increased the density of rooting system in the 30 cm depth of surface soil.
