摘要

本研究係利用內容分析法，探討中央日報、聯合報、中國時報、台灣新生報、台灣日報、經濟日報等國內六大報，在民國82年對農業新聞報導的層面與範圍，就新聞內容、版面安排、新聞性質、報導方式、篇幅大小及圖片配合等主題進行分析。發現每報每天報導農業新聞1.33則，約為600字，在新聞報導之比重上，實屬偏低，而報導內容方面，以農業生產與科技創新（17.9%）、農業推廣（15.6%）、農業問題與農民意見反應（20.5%）及農民福利與農村生活（19.9%）等方面的內容為主，在版面安排方面，大都是安排在地方新聞版（50.2%）為主，綜合新聞版（15.3%）生活與社會版（17.4%）次之，各月份新聞之分配約在4.4%～12.6%之間，新聞性質則以軟性新聞為主，報導方式以標示性新聞與描述性約各佔一半，約有三分之一的新聞有圖片配合說明。

This study is to analyze the agricultural news reported by six domestic newspapers in 1993, which is Central Daily News, United News, China Time Daily, Taiwan Hsinshen News, Taiwan Daily News, and Economic Daily News. Content analysis method were applied on the degree and category of agricultural news report, in term of news content, format arrangement, news nature, report method, content size and corresponding picture. The results showed that the daily average of agricultural news report is 1.33 articles, about 600 words. The percentage of various agricultural new content is as follow: agricultural production and innovative technique 17.9%; agricultural extension, 15.6%; agricultural problem and farmers opinion, 20.5%; farmers welfare and rural living, 19.9%. The proportion of format arrangement of agricultural news located on local news edition is 50.2%; on general news edition is 15.3%; on social life edition is 17.4%. The monthly proportion of agricultural news is averaged from 4.4% to 12.6%. The news nature is mostly belongs to soft news category. The report method is both statistic and descriptive. About 1/3 of news reports have corresponding picture.
