不同養液肥料對介質栽培東方甜瓜之影響

Effects of Different Fertilizers on the Growth and Yield of Melon (Cucumis melon L.) under Substrate Cultivation

摘要


本研究目的在探討不同養液肥料配方對兩種東方甜瓜品種(‘銀輝’及‘嘉玉’)在介質耕栽培下對甜瓜生育、果實產量與品質之影響。結果顯示,‘嘉玉’品種的果重、果型及果皮顏色等特性較符合市場及消費者需求。以‘嘉玉’品種配合臺肥複合肥料43號(C處理)養液栽培下,不論是在單果重、果實大小及果肉厚度等果實性狀,或在瓜果外皮顏色及果實品質方面等綜合園藝性狀表現較佳。惟在瓜果可溶性固形物(°Brix)僅為11.4 °Brix表現較差,如以養液E處理(臺肥複合肥料43號1/2量配合本場有機液肥配方1/2量)瓜果可溶性固形物可達14.3 °Brix,顯著高於其他處理者。因此,東方甜瓜在介質栽培下,除了供應化學肥料養液外,如能配合適當有機液肥使用,將可提昇瓜果之甜度。

The purpose of this study was to figure out the effect of different fertilizers (commercial prescription, Yamasaki prescription, compound fertilizer 43, liquid organic fertilizer, and 1/2 compound fertilizer 43 plus 1/2 liquid organic fertilizer) on melon two cultivars ('Silver Light' and 'Jill') under substrate culture. The results showed that applying compound fertilizer 43 would get the best performance on the fruit characteristics such as fruit weight, fruit size, fruit thickness, fruit color, and quality when these characteristics compared with those on the other treatments on 'Jill' cultivar under substrate culture. However, the fruit total soluble solid content was lower. The total soluble solid content in treatment of 1/2 compound fertilizer 43 plus 1/2 liquid organic fertilizer (E-treatment) were 14.3 °Brix. This result was significantly higher than that of the other treatments. Applying chemical fertilizer together with liquid organic fertilizer is suggested to be adopted for melon substrate cultivation to increase the fruit total soluble solid content.
