定向越野的地圖在臺灣推展該項運動上,扮演著非常關鍵的角色。尤其是校園或公園的地圖繪製,對於一般學生的教學和訓練上是比較實用與方便的。因此本文旨在協助有志於定向越野繪圖者,完成一張校園定向越野地圖。方法:本文利用定向越野OCAD專業繪圖軟體,一步一步說明繪圖的基本技巧與流程。結論:雖然有國際定向越野短距離的繪圖規範作為藍本,以不同意義的顏色、大小、禁制區域、穿越性等地徵來組成一張定向越野地圖,不同繪圖經驗與看法,還是產生不同的差異性。惟這樣的差異性必須受繪圖規範且被大部分的選手所認同與接受。建議:一張高品質的定向越野地圖必須倚賴繪圖者豐富的經驗,並符合賽事辦理者的需求及選手的期待,完成的地圖最好請其他繪圖者和試跑員進行評估和最後修改。
Purpose: Maps play the most critical role in developing orienteering in Taiwan. Especially, park and school (campus) maps are promising and convenient for teaching and training to students. This article aimed to assistant beginners who would like to complete an orienteering map by OCAD. Method: Step by step, this article introduces basic technique and procedures of park and school mapping by using OCAD software. Conclusion: International Sprint Specification of Orienteering Mapping (ISSOM) has given standard mapping method with meanings in terms of colors, sizes, forbidden areas, impassable features and so on. Mapping still allowed minor deviations due to different mapping experiences and opinions. However, all deviations must be accepted and understood by most of the athletes. Suggestions: Mapping qualities according to mappers' orienteering experience and the point of views from event organizers and athletes. A completed map is better re-revalued by other mappers and test running.
