臺灣甜柿產業分析

Industry Analysis of Persimmon in Taiwan

摘要


本研究的主要目的在分析臺灣地區甜柿之產銷現況、市場價格、生產成本與收益以及市場潛力。結果顯示,臺灣甜柿批發價格,在民國85〜92年間呈明顯下跌趨勢,尤其,民國91年售價較前六年平均價下跌47%,民國92年,雖然略為止跌回升,但是產地農場價格仍持續下跌。然而,就民國91〜93年甜柿進口量與水果總進口量觀之,每年甜柿進口量均未達配額量且有明顯萎縮現象,水果總進口量亦不增反減,倒是國產水果產量有明顯增加的現象,其中甜柿面積更是快速擴充。目前臺灣甜柿產業面臨的問題:(一)生產成本高、單位面積產量低;(二)病蟲害嚴重;(三)面臨國內外競爭壓力;(四)生產技術有待改進;(五)產品不耐儲藏;(六)消費群未普及。未來倘能積極降低產銷成本並掌握國產甜柿較新鮮、果粒較大且採收成熟度較佳等競爭優勢,積極建立品牌並區隔市場,則國產甜柿仍有其競爭力,另一方面,倘能加強品管並採吉園圃認證,生產高品質、衛生、安全的優質果品,則短期間內,積極拓展大陸沿海地區市場,應該有其發展空間。因此,為使臺灣甜柿產業能永續發展,建議採行措施:(一)適地適種;(二)加強栽培管理;(三)加強採後處理;(四)積極導入企業化經營管理;(五)籌組策略聯盟;(六)加強國外產銷資訊收集;(七)積極開發禮盒市場並拓展宅配直銷;(八)加強宣傳廣告並教育消費者。

The main objectives of this project are to analyze the current situation of production and marketing, the production cost and revenue, and the market potential for the persimmons. The result indicated that the wholesale price of persimmon was obviously declining within 1996 to 2003, especially the wholesale price in 2002 was decreased by 47% than that of the previous six years price average. On 2003, although the wholesale price stop declining, but the farm price of production areas was continuously declining. If the persimmon import amount and total fruit import amount were considered within 2002 to 2004, the persimmon import amount did not reaching the import quota. The total fruit import amount was also decreasing, the domestic fruit production was increasing significantly, especially persimmon acreage is expanding quickly. There are several problems in the persimmon production: 1. The high production cost and low production yield per unit area. 2. Serious disease and insect. 3. Facing the competitive pressure from inside and outside of the country. 4. The production technique needs to be improved. 5. The storage time of products is not long enough. 6. The consumer's recognition is not popular. In the future, the reduction of production and marketing cost, take the competitive advantage of freshness, larger fruit size and even maturity of local production of persimmon to establish the brand and market segmentation, the production of persimmon will have the potential. Strengthen the quality control and adopt GAP certification to produce high quality, safe product and expand the export market to mainland coastal areas. The following recommendations are suggested for persimmon sustainable production in Taiwan: 1. To be planted at suitable location. 2. Strengthening the cultural practice. 3. Adopting post-harvest handling. 4. Introducing industrialization management. 5. Organizing strategic alliance by persimmon farmers. 6. Collecting production and marketing information of foreign countries. 7. developing home delivery channel. 8. Strengthening promotion of persimmon and education of consumer.
