梨台中1號與台中2號品種之育成

The New Pear Cuitivars-"Taichung No.1" and "Taichung No.2"

摘要


於民國74年進行梨雜交育種工作,經雜交授粉、種苗培育、實生苗初選、品系複選、區域試驗、病蟲害觀察、植株低溫需求量測定、果實低溫貯藏力調查及果實櫥架壽命調查等試驗,於民國92年命名台中1號-褔來梨,民國93年命名台中2號-晶圓梨。台中1號為幸水梨與橫山梨雜交後代選出,其植株生育強健、抗病力強,低溫需求量約在500至600小時間,果實單果平均重為503.5公克。果心比為0.21、果汁率為85.6%、糖度為11.1°Brix,果實在2℃時可貯藏3個月以上,果實櫥架壽命在6日以上。台中2號為豐水梨與橫山梨雜交後代選出,其植株生育健壯、花芽形成容易、抗病力強、低溫需求量約200~300小時間,果實單果平均重為476.4公克,果心比為0.28,果汁率為86.3%、糖度為12.6°Brix,果實在2℃時可貯藏4個月以上,櫥架壽命為6日。梨台中1號及2號在低海拔地區可直接栽培,而取代目前高生產成本之高接梨生產方式,可提高梨之競爭力,使梨產業能永續經營。

After nearly 20 years of hard research work by a group of pomologists in Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, two new cultivars of pear have been approved by nomenclature committee of Council of Agriculture and released as pear ”Taichung No.1- Fu Lai” in 2003, and ”Taichung No.2- Fully Lucky” in 2004. Taichung No.1 is derived from an offspring of crossing between a native pear ”Hengshan” and Japanese pear ”Kousui”. It is a cultivar of low chilling requirement and can be grown well with good quality fruit at lowland. This cultivar has strong growth vigor, large fruit and high yield. The fruit of Taichung No.1 has fine flesh texture, juicy, high sugar content, small core and long storage ability in low temperature.Taichung No.2 is derived from an offspring of crossing between ”Hengshan” and ”Housui”. It is also a cultivar of low chilling requirement and can be grown well with good quality fruit at lowland. The superior characteristics of ”Taichung No.2” is strong growth vigor, abundant flower buds, large fruit and high yield. The fruit is round sharp, fine texture, juicy, high sugar content, small core, delighted fragrant and long storage ability in low temperature.After extensively planting, not only grower could reduce their production cost, consumers will also be beneficial and enjoy the good taste of the new, high quatity pears.
