This research aims at understanding of oral cancer patients under tumor characteristics and different medical treatments, respectively. We discuss the survival, relapse rate generated by comparing the differences after completely removed the tumor by surgery or electro-chemotherapy and combined therapy in different ways, The data resource from the Taichung Veterans General Hospital clinical records cases, studies during the 2000 to 2010 year. Use of international classification of disease codes ICD-10 extract with clinical records and pathological biopsy of oral cancer patients. We find the results as a total of 898 through to the analysis of the study. The patients gender predominance of males (93.8%), females have only 6.2%, the average age for 51.95 years. Average tumor size was 3.11 centimeters; tumor cut average source distance is 4.33 mm, the tumor source distance 20 mm; number of lymph node metastasis of averages to less than 1, maximum value of 14. The correlations of patients relapse and metastasis and survival status are described with Chi-square test analysis of and Kaplan-Meier of survival analysis. By the way, Log-Rank verification are adopted to estimated five-year survival rate of patients with oral cancer patient survival. The surgical excision with highest combined radiation therapy and chemotherapy is about 40.0%. Only for combined chemotherapy and radiation therapy patient survival rates are lower than 50%; under the Chi-square test, medical treatments and survival of usage patterns in a significant way and transfer (P<0.001). This study finds that treatment and recurrence, metastasis and survival are obviously related to the clinical care, will respond to the patient's physiological and psychological level. Thus, to improve the quality of care is the mean purpose to up raise the survival of oral cancer patients.
