Nursing personnel are required to practice collaboration in executing hydrotherapy for burn patients. If they are unfamiliar with the procedure, the wound may be exposed for an extended period, resulting in hypothermia and endangering the patient. This study finds via observation that the comprehension of nursing personnel of hydrotherapy amounts to merely 82.7%. Meanwhile, the integrity of hydrotherapy only amounts to 73.2%. The reasons comprise the following: nursing personnel lacks comprehension of how to execute hydrotherapy for burn patients, and the procedure involved; inadequate practical training; no regular inspection mechanism in place; and inadequate spirit of collaboration. As such, it is necessary to standardize the operating procedure, seed training, and simulation training, formulate user manual for equipment, establish training passport, establish regular inspection mechanism, provide gentle reminder cue cards and index, so that the personnel can quickly get to know their role and the functions to perform. After improvement, the comprehension of hydrotherapy increases to 96.4%, while the integrity of hydrotherapy increases to 100%, both of which meeting the objective of this study in fostering team work and enhancing the quality of care.
