The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of picture books into emotional education on the second grader' emotional adjustment ability, this study attempts to understand the students' responses toward the curriculum so as to promote the growth of teachers in teaching and to offer specific recommendations based on the findings. This study employed quasi-experimental method of ”nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design” Participants were 27 second graders at elementary School in Tainan. The experimental group of 27 second graders received experimental curriculum including five units with a total of eight hundred minutes for ten weeks. Using the research tool derived from ”Elementary School Children's Emotional Adjustment Ability Scale,” the researcher conducted pretest and posttest. Quantitative data was gathered and then went through ANCOVA analysis in order to to test the influence of experimental curriculum. The followings were the conclusions of this study: after the implementation of the emotional education curriculum, students' abilities of emotional awareness, emotional expression and adjustment strategy are highly improved; but there is no influence on students' emotional introspection and emotional performance.
