企業資源規劃(ERP)專案的導入成功與否,存在著許多複雜因素,尤其是系統與廠商的評估選擇。ERP系統及廠商一旦選定之後,ERP系統本身就成為無法控制的因素。ERP系統的高度客製化,經常是ERP系統專案導入延遲及成本增加的主因,而最重要的關鍵,則在於不同行業別對ERP系統的功能要求也不同。鋼鐵業是工業之母,但目前世界所流行的ERP系統幾乎是以電子高科技產業為標竿,對傳統重工業的適用性不高。本研究以鋼鐵業為研究對象,使用深度訪談法與層級程序分析法,探討ERP系統的再造的主要考量與評選關鍵功能的模組,期以提供鋼鐵業者一種較客觀的評選方式,俾使提高ERP系統導入的成功率。此外,本研究針對ERP的產業別功能之需求面,提供建議給ERP系統供應商,期能提高其對不同產業別ERP的開發意願。
There are a lot of complicated factors affecting the success of the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) project. It is difficult to change the vendor and ERP system once they are decided. However the customization is the most significant factor to affect ERP implementation schedule and incur more cost than budget. It becomes critical to select an adequate industry-specified ERP system to meet enterprise's requirements. This study deliberates the concept of an industry-specified ERP system, focusing on the steel industry as the research object. We take account of the major dimensions and critical modules of ERP system by applying in-depth interview and Analytic Hierarchy Process method. This paper offers steel industry an objective method for selection of critical ERP modules and functions. Finally, some suggestions were provided for ERP system vendors to consider the differentiation for different industries.
