應用匹配方法分析“兩職合一”對公司績效的影響

Using Matching Method to Analyze the Impact of CEO Duality to Firm Performance

摘要


已有的研究都是直接採用回歸分析方法來得到“兩職合一”對公司績效的影響,但是由於“兩職合一”狀態變數同殘差項並不獨立,因此直接應用回歸分析將會對績效評價帶來誤差。本文應用一種新的方法──匹配方法分析了“兩職合一”對公司績效的影響,該方法是績效評價中最常用的非參數估計方法。

The impact of CEO duality to firm performance is usually analyzed by regression analysis, but dependence between CEO duality and the residual error may induce some bias of the impact result when using the regression analysis directly. To avoid this bias, the matching method is used to estimate that impact, which is a usual nonparametric method of program evaluation.
