ENHANCED CHAOTIC MAP-BASED AUTHENTICATED KEY AGREEMENT WITH PRIVACY PROTECTION FOR MULTI-RECEIVER ENVIRONMENT

摘要


Multi-receiver encryption is an important cryptographic paradigm that enables flexible, on-demand and low-cost computing to securely deliver a message over an insecure network. Authenticated key agreements for multi-receiver enable a group of receivers to authenticate each other and to establish a common key for securely communicating over public networks. Until now, several authenticated key agreement schemes for multi-receiver protocol were proposed and in 2017, Sun et al. presents a chaotic map-based authenticated key agreement scheme for multi-receiver environment, named MRCM. The proposed scheme realizes mutual authentication and privacy protection by using chaotic map operation. However, this study states the weaknesses of the key agreement scheme of Sun et al. (2017), which include suffering from impersonation attacks and modification attacks, violation the session key security, and failure to protect user's privacy. Based the scheme of Sun et al. (2017), an enhanced chaotic map-based authenticated key agreement scheme for multireceiver environment is proposed. Compared with related schemes, the enhanced scheme solves the weaknesses in previous approaches, increases security requirements and has lower computational cost. The proposed enhanced scheme is suitable for implementation in the multi-receiver environment, involving database systems, file sharing systems, EPR information system and others.
